Due to Ex CM Selvi J. Jayalalithaa’a death, 14th Chennai International Film Festival was postponed, now on full swing it’s going to start on January 5th – 12th 2017. The eight-day film festival will feature the best films from few countries. 14th CIFF which is dedicated in memory of our beloved former Chief Minister Selvi J. Jayalalitaa of Tamil Nadu – Puratchi Thalaivi Amma.
The venues are: Casino Theatre, Inox 2 & 3, Palazzo Cinemas at Forum Vijaya Mall – Screen 1, RKV Film & TV Institute at Vadapalani and Russian Culture Centre
E. Thangaraj – Festival Director of the Chennai International Film Festival says, “We will have a freewheeling discussion with filmmakers who attend the festival every day. The festival will be an opportunity for the audience to interact with filmmakers at a more personal level”

The festival will be presenting 2 Tamil films as Homage to our beloved former Chief Minister Selvi J. Jayalalitaa of Tamil Nadu – Puratchi Thalaivi Amma
