Mani Ratnam’s new film titled Chekka Chivantha Vaanam

Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies has joined hands with Subaskaran’s Lyca Productions for the first time to produce this multi starrer film. A.R.Rahman and Vairamuthu are all set to resume their duties as music composer and lyric writer respectively. Santosh Sivan collaborates with Mani Ratnam for the sixth time as cinematographer and Sharmishta Roy returns as art director. Sreekar Prasad in charge of editing.

The ace director has assembled a great ensemble of actors that includes names like Aravind Swami, Silambarasan, Jyotika, Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aishwarya Rajesh, Prakash Raj, Thiyagarajan, Mansoor Ali Khan and Jayasudha.

This movie is also set to release simultaneously in Telugu as well. The Telugu version is titled Nawab.
