It truly proves that the Jallikattu uprising in Jan 2017 was definitely of global significance. The filmmakers of the Tamil feature film Jallikattu 5-23rd Jan 2017 have launched Song #2 aptly titled NEETHAN TAMIZHAN at the prestigious Harvard University Boston USA. The second track reflects the spirit of being a Tamizhan was launched amidst an August gathering at the Aldrich Hall.
The song was formally launched by MR Karthikeyan Sivasenapathy, founder of the Kangayam Cattle research Foundation and one of the pioneers for the Jallikattu uprising in Tamil Nadu.
The track was formally received by Deputy Chief Minister New Delhi, MR Manish Sisodia and eminent fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee along with the co Producer Guruu Saravanan and the team was joined by the director of the film Santhosh Gopal.
The song and a special video clip from the film was played for the audience there who comprised of research scholars, students and special invitees. The filming of the Jallikattu uprising and the subsequent turn of events forms the core of this Tamil feature film. The music for the film is composed by Ramesh Vinayakam and this song is rendered by popular singer Haricharan.
