Unveiling Sangamithra at 70th Cannes Film Festival

Director Sundar C is all set to direct a Brobdingnagian historic film, even costlier than Enthiran 2 or Baahubali. The film is likely to be made on a mega budget, bankrolled by Sri Thenandal Films for whom this film will be their 100th production venture. The film is naturally titled as ‘Sangamithra’ will be made in tri-lingual. Actor Jayam Ravi & Arya and actress Shruti Haasan on the board and will be unveiled at the Opening Night at the 70th Cannes Film Festival on the 18th May. The film is set in the 8th century AD.

The team will be present in the occasion of unveiling Sangamithra. Sundar C says, “It’s an honor to be unveiling Sangamithra at the prestigious Cannes film festival with my producers Thenandal Studios and my entire cast – Ravi, Arya and Shruti. I am very happy that Sabu Cyril sir will also be joining us. This is the most challenging & special project in my career.”
