‘Rekkai Mulaithen’, a gripping crime thriller directed and produced by S. R. Prabhakaran on Stone Elephant Creations banner gears up for theatrical release in August
After ‘Sundarapandian’, ‘Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal’, ‘Sathriyan’, ‘Kombu Vecha Singamda’ movies and the web series ‘Sengalam’, S. R. Prabhakaran tests shifts to a completely new genre with ‘Rekkai Mulaithen’, which stars Tanya Ravichandran in the lead.
“It has always been my mission to avoid getting boxed into a single type of filmmaking. ‘Rekkai Mulaithen’ reflects my aspiration to explore fresh narratives with each film. The story intertwines two worlds — on one side, college students discovering newfound freedom, and on the other, Tanya Ravichandran’s character as a police officer unearthing a shocking crime. From start to finish, the film promises to keep audiences at the edge of their seats.”
